I do not go too deep into my preferences in public. Some things are better left to a smaller circle. Here are a few random points.

ãããã£ã³â³ SEASON 2
ãããã£ã³â³
The list above shows the anime I have watched. Actually, in the past few years I have watched anime very rarely, let alone read physical books. Most of the physical books I have bought recently are exam-prep books for CET-4 and CET-6. Before November 2025, I had barely watched a single anime.
The reason I suddenly started watching anime again, and even ended up diving into GL recently (to be fair, GL has indeed been one of my most frequent themes lately, though that is not too different from before: mostly soft yuri + slice of life + BG), is pretty odd. I have a habit: while coding, I keep a small video window in the upper-right corner to kill time, otherwise waiting for Agent replies feels too slow.
In November 2025, by pure chance, I picked the soft-yuri slice-of-life anime Food for the Soul (PA Meshi) and started watching it. After a few days, I found it surprisingly fun and got mildly hooked. I accidentally rewatched it three or four times and even bought a physical manga volume.

(Even though this part is about how I started watching GL and does not seem very related to books, I already put anime data in the previous section, so I might as well include my light novel and manga data here too. It roughly lines up with what comes next.)
I originally thought PA Meshi would just be a brief detour. Watching anime still costs time and energy, so I did not think I would keep watching for long. Around that time, I had CET-6 (December 13, 2025). After the exam, and after finding out from the score breakdown in February that I failed (lol, 414, eleven points short of 425), I took a short break for a few days. Then I kept opening VSCode and working on my own project, pushing a little progress every day. Since VSCode was already open, the upper-right corner of my screen could not stay idle either, so I kept catching up on anime.
At that moment I was just wondering whether to try a true yuri work when Bilibili pushed me a MAD for There's No Freaking Way I'll be Your Lover! Unless.... From there, things went completely out of hand, and I fully entered the GL world.
But There's No Freaking Way I'll be Your Lover! Unless... did not quite hit the spot. A few days after finishing it, the withdrawal symptoms were gone. What has kept me in withdrawal until now is Adachi and Shimamura (October 2020), an anime I had not finished back in middle school. Around New Year, I planned to pull it out and properly catch up.
After I roughly finished the first watch, something strange happened. The story is calm and does not really have explosive moments, but every time I sat down and thought through its scenes, I felt this uncomfortable and restless itch in my chest. How did I deal with that withdrawal? Rewatch it more. So after looping it four or five times, I was completely submerged in the story.
After that, I spent two nights staying up to finish Moke Yuzuhara-sensei's manga. I am also almost done with the original novel now, too, though it has taken about four months because I read slowly; for detailed reading data, see above. There really is a strange kind of magic in Hitoma Iruma's writing. The richest and most interesting part of Adachi and Shimamura is not the plot, but the psychological description. I think one of the big reasons I was drawn to it, besides the GL angle, is that the character backgrounds felt close enough to mine to resonate.
I recently ordered volume 8 of the Adachi and Shimamura manga, along with the Taiwanese edition that is about to be released, and I am looking forward to the books arriving. Every rewatch is a cleansing for my soul!
Another title that kept me in withdrawal for quite a long time was Cosmic Princess Kaguya. The animation is smooth, and it tells a story properly. I also rewatch it often these days, and I have already ordered the artbook and the novel.
My anime-watching updates are on Bangumi. I do not mirror those updates on this site very often.
Music
As for music, I mostly listen to J-POP and Vocaloid. If I had to name a genre, maybe math rock? But when it comes to music, I honestly cannot describe things in deeper terms. NetEase Cloud's genre summary probably says it better than I can. Art has always been a field I struggle to understand.
Speaking of J-POP, I have to mention Yorushika and Zutomayo. I have always been a fan of n-buna and ACAne... I got into both of them in 2021, and after that, that was basically it.
As for Vocaloid, I do not have any fixed producer. I just listen to whatever the daily recommendations give me. While I am here, I will also share two math rock + Vocaloid tracks I really like: 倿«éåœå®ä¹ and ææé¶.
UI
In UI design, I prefer whitespace and card grids. Recently I have liked serif type more, like this site right now, and I sometimes throw in a few emoji as visual anchors to add a bit more visual punch... ð¡ð.
I really like a design scheme built on white, gray, and black, with accent colors and Blur / Shadow transitions. I do not know what to call it; maybe it leans more Apple-ish? I do genuinely like iOS design, especially the motion side of it. The Apple ID face payment animation is ridiculously cool.
The websites of tech companies like Claude and OpenAI fit this kind of scheme really well. Clean design feels very geeky! Restraint is what matters most. What surprised me most about Claude was one little "subtract" detail: when you hover over a link, it does not highlight the current item on purpose, but instead dims the surrounding peers. It uses lower emphasis on the other information to bring the focus forward, taking "restraint" to the extreme.
By contrast, Google's Material Design is not really my thing. The overuse of Morandi colors makes it feel too flashy. I still liked the original MD... now it has become this.
Other
Other than that, I honestly cannot think of many hobbies worth talking about. Coding is probably not really a hobby for me anymore, and the code is not written by me anyway; the Agent writes it. The Agent does the work, and I pressure it. If I really had to name another topic worth chatting about... maybe drinking Monster and sleeping? My phone is Xiaomi, my laptop is Mechanical Revolution, so yeah, value-for-money kings.
I usually play Minecraft (Java Edition ID: Aurora_Lemon), and occasionally Bed Wars. I do not really play many other games; I am not even sure whether Turing Complete counts. I once had a dream of switching tracks and going into hardware and embedded systems, but clearly that is not happening, haha.
My daily schedule is fixed: asleep at 4 AM, up at 11:30 AM. Total night owl, and I am used to working at night. Anyway, my VSCode and Obsidian themes are always light. In VSCode, my favorites are the built-in Light Modern and GitHub Light, though GitHub Dark is also nice.
I do not go out much. Unless someone literally comes to my building and messages me that they are downstairs, I will usually find an excuse to decline, hahaha.
When I am bored, or when some weird idea pops up, I chat with ChatGPT and Gemini. Claude banned me, so I cannot ask it anymore.
